Everyone knows the power of social media these days and it helped the candidature of Narendra Modi as Prime Minister designate win the vote and form the government. Taking a cue from them, even Congress party also upped their digital game like rival BJP.
What is surprising is that the speed at which Congress folks operate is still a reason to worry. Exactly a week ago, there was huge hungama on Twitter and other places that Rahul Gandhi’s sister Priyanka Gandhi arrived on the micro blogging site. After coming into active politics to campaign in UP, surely this is a great move by the political heiress.
However, even after a week on the site and amassing 2+ lakh followers, there is no tweet at all from Priyanka so far. Neither a ‘welcome’ post nor something on the recent Pulawama terror attacks has come from her. If not tweeting regularly, timely and advantageously, what is the fun of having a Twitter account?
On the other hand, her brother Rahul Gandhi is quite active on Twitter and makes sure that he will nail everything to the perfect.
