The poster between the films, Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru is known to everyone when it comes to claiming record collections and beating Baahubali records. As both the films completed their 50 days run at the box office, and also appeared on digital streaming sites, here is what they have to say about collections.
While Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo stunned fans with ‘Unbeaten half century’ and ‘Industry Hit (Non-BB)’ posters on the eve of 50th day, Sarileru Neekevvaru claimed ‘All Time Blockbuster (Non-BB in Telugu states) status through the 50th day poster. It looks like both the films are not taking any rest when it comes to claiming records, but wonder who actually scored a record.
On the other hand, the team of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo has sent unofficial figures to media that the film collected 160+ crores share till date and that is more than a record in Telugu states. Though Sarileru Neekevvaru hasn’t released any figures, they are sticking only to their ‘blockbuster’ posters.
Now that other films like HIT and Bheeshma have occupied theatres already, maybe this will be the last set of promotional posters coming from Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Sarileru Neekevvaru.
