This collaboration marks a significant milestone as it’s the first time the USC Institute for Creative Technologies has lent its expertise to an Indian film project. Notably this institute boasts an impressive track record having earned two Oscars for its outstanding contributions to the world of visual effects.
It’s no stranger to blockbuster projects having worked on iconic films like James Cameron’s ‘Avatar.’ Director Venkat Prabhu couldn’t contain his excitement and shared a sneak peek into this futuristic endeavor with a couple of captivating pictures.
He captioned them “Welcome to the future. #Thalapathy68 @actorvijay @archanakalpathi.” The USC Institute for Creative Technologies in collaboration with the USC Viterbi School of Engineering is renowned for pioneering Light Stages.
Their impressive Projects includes digital actors in blockbuster hits like ‘Spider-Man 2’ ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ ‘Avatar’ ‘The Avengers’ ‘Maleficent’ ‘Furious 7’ and ‘The Jungle Book.’
