Some heroes respond in some other way, but generally many celebrities fly to the USA to attend events conducted by Telugu associations like TANA and NATA provided that all of their expenses are taken care by the organisations. Here is a stunner, however.
Recently Telugu Association of North America (TANA) has invited Kalyan Ram Nandamuri to take part in their next event that is scheduled for May 28. Generally, the expenses to invite an actor including his air ticket and hotel bills for a couple of days might add up to 7-8 lakhs and the organisation takes care of it. But Kalyan Ram is said to have rejected the organization paying up his travel expenses and bills.
This hero cum producer doesn’t want TANA to pay for him but he wants to spend that money from his pocket only. At the event, Kalyan Ram will be receiving NTR Memorial Award too. For being a big star and also an heir of NTR, it’s good that he hasn’t collected any as he’s leaving for the USA to receive an award named after his grandfather.
Currently, Kalyan Ram is listening to many scripts while his production venture with Jr NTR, Jai Lava Kusa, is on the floors.
