The ‘Sivagami’ character essayed by Ramya Krishnan in Baahubali has brought immense recognition for the veteran actress. It is known that the character was earlier rejected by Sridevi when the makers refused to meet her whopping demands. Now, Ramya Krishnan has reportedly divulged that she too had ditched the film earlier.
When the makers of Baahubali first approached Ramya Krishnan and asked her for bulk dates to essay Sivagami role, the senior actress rejected the film citing her other commitments. The producers approached her for the second time and requested her to take a final call after hearing her part.
After Rajamouli narrated the character of Sivagami to Ramya Krishnan, she understood how much importance the role has in the film and on what scale the film will be made. She then immediately gave her nod and allotted bulk dates for the movie. Now, the senior actress feels that it would have been the biggest regret of her life if she had stuck to her original decision.
