Even as Baahubali : The Conclusion is smashing the Box Office records and trade is curiously watching on where the film finishes, it is not quite easy for the makers of Sahoo to get a female lead opposite Prabhas. Initial reports had it that Deepika and few others were the choice for the film being made in three languages simultaneously, it’s rumoured that Deepika has gently turned down. While she has no qualms to pair up with him, it’s learnt that her dates are a major problem.
Apparently, Deep’s dates are chock-a-block and she couldn’t take up the offer. Also Parineeti and Amy were also considered, somehow, makers have backed out. The latest we hear is that Katrina would be signed for the film. Kat has recently signed the Thugs of Hindostan on dotted line where she is going to act alongside Aamir Khan. If all goes as per the plan, Kat will also sign Prabhas Sahoo.
Meanwhile, UV Creations, who is producing Sahoo, have also approached Pooja Hegde. It’s not clear whether the film will have both Katrina and Pooja together or only one of them.
A formal announcement is expected to be made once Prabhas returns from his US trip where he has gone for a vacation. Since the film is all set to hit the floors from June 1st week in Hyderabad, the producers have upped the talks.
