Pawan’s Stardom Falling?

Even as his films failed to perform at the Box Office, it has a little impact on his stardom and his ‘brand’. However, his foray into politics, his often public appearances and his media interactions are all seem to be affecting ‘brand’ Pawan.

Many marketing strategists do opine that a star’s stardom is inversely proportional to TV appearances, public interactions. Actors in the industry are quite aware of this age-old rule and hence, no one would love to interact with media except before the release of their films or before their publicity campaign is started.

Earlier Pawan too had followed the rule well. In fact, the actor was known for not promoting his films and often tagged as media-shy. Actually, it worked a lot for his image and building persona of himself. People loved him for being honest and leaving the opinion to people to watch the films they like.

But Pawan’s political aspirations are now quite evident that he is least bothered about his stardom, openings at the Box Office. However, since heavy budget and high monies at stake and a lot of distributors are involved, Pawan has to consider his on-screen image as well until he completely says bid adieu.

What’s more? Already the videos of Pawan’s political press meets and his party meets are getting lukewarm response on YouTube and other video, content platforms. Even the news about Pawan weren’t getting due hits like they used to get earlier. All these are cautioning Pawan to be aware of his stardom getting affected.

In the run up to his political aspirations, Pawan seems to be spoiling his filmy career that is a golden goose. Even many politicians have realised this, including his elder brother Chiranjeevi, and they have returned to the silver screen. The moot question is will Pawan consider his stardom?
