NTR’s entry telly show Bigg Boss has got the Telugu audiences interested big time, so much so that it got the highest TRPs for any show till date by a Telugu film star.
Though what happens in the Bigg Boss house is confusing and no on seems to have a clue, still, Bigg Boss has been topping the charts.
Also, on weekends, when NTR is part of the show, the ratings are higher.
Now, NTR fans are claiming that it shows the rising popularity of their star.
On the other hand, when megastar Chiranjeevi made his small screen debut, he got the lowest TRPs.
The reason why Chiranjeevi failed is because his show Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu lacked any elements.
The show has been on for a very long time and that killed the curiosity factor.
On the other hand, NTR’s show provided a novelty element for the Telugu audiences.
They haven’t seen such a show in the past. So their curiosity is up and they have been following the show giving rise to higher TRPs.
So, while Chiranjeevi made the mistake of opting for a mundane show, NTR was smart enough to pick a show that has been controversial up north.
This has become a plus for him.
