Looks like director Harish Shankar invites troubles without his notice. The words used in ‘Gudilo Badilo’ song from ‘DJ – Duvvada Jagannadham’ garnered severe criticism. Though himself being a Brahmin could not convince his community members and eventually the words were placed in the song.
Now a fresh controversy has hit on his upcoming movie ‘Valmiki.’ Launched few days back in Hyderabad amidst the presence of noted personalities, the makers have also released the title logo poster. The title has a gun on the top of it while a film reel below it. The Valmiki community members did not object having the reel below but raised their voice against the placing of gun.
They are demanding for the removal of gun from the title logo as it is sort of insulting to the entire community. Director Harish Shankar is yet to respond on it.
‘Valmiki’ is the official remake of Tamil movie ‘Jigarthanda’ and Mega Prince Varun Tej is playing the role of Bobby Simha.
