Telugu cricketer Hanuma Vihari creates history

Telugu cricketer Hanuma Vihari who is part of the men’s Test team has scored hat-trick centuries in the Irani Cup and created history by becoming the first player to do so.

In the match against Vidarbha, Vihari scored 114 runs in the first innings and in the second innings, he made yet another ton and this time he surpassed the individual 150 run mark at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur. Vihari is representing Rest of India (ROI) team.

In 2018, Vihari made a huge 183 against the same team. But that match ended as a draw. These consecutive hundreds make Vihari, the first batsman since 2011 to score centuries in each innings of an Irani Cup match after Indian current ODI opener Shikhar Dhawan.
