NTR’s Father-in-law Joins YSRCP

Ending the days long speculations, Narne Srinivasa Rao, noted businessman and father-in-law of hero NTR, joined the YSRCP. Srinivasa Rao went to Jagan’s official residence Lotus Pond this morning and the YSRCP chief YS Jagan formally welcomed him into the party by offering him his party’s towel.

Addressing the media after joining the YSRCP, Srinivasa Rao said that he joined Jagan only to ensure his victory in the upcoming general elections and see Jagan as the CM of Andhra Pradesh. Narne went on to say that only Jagan has the penchant to lead AP towards the path of progress. However, Narne didn’t reveal if he will only support the YSRCP or also contest on the party’s ticket in the elections.

On the other hand, political circles have been abuzz with speculations that Narne is keen on contesting on a YSRCP ticket from any of the constituencies in Guntur district. A few days ago, reports emerged that Narne’s decision to join the YSRCP had led to differences between him and his son-in-law NTR and that they both have not been on talking terms since then.
