The Andhra Pradesh government received a shock from AP High Court as it declined to take any call on the transfer of Intelligence Chief made by Election Commission. The court clarified that the decision taken by EC can’t be intervened and the government should follow it’s orders.. Following the court’s verdict, intelligence chief AB Venkateswara Rao met AP CM Chandrababu Naidu.
Sometime back the government has released a G.O. stating the transfer of Venkateshwara Rao. He was asked to report at the Police Headquarters and G.O. also mentioned he will not be assigned any task related to assembly and Lok Sabha elections in the AP. The government has already transferred Srikakulam SPs after a complained by YSR Congress party.
Meanwhile YSRCP is claiming that it is their moral victory.
