A whopping amount of Rs 10 crore cash has been seized by Andhra Pradesh police in state run transport bus. In about three bags, the loads of cash is caught and in the police’s initial probe, they found out that the money belongs to Rajam YSR Congress party leader, Palavalasa Vikranth.
The police suspect that this cash is being transported to distribute to voters a day or two before the polling. With the voting date fast approaching, YSRCP seems to be indulging in many irregularities. In Anantapur, YCP leaders are held distributing coupon cards and offering money if voted their party.
Meanwhile the police have tightened the security and assembled check-posts at many locations of the state. We may not be surprised if police catch more money before the end of campaign day.
