Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi has got a thunderous start at the Box Office. The social drama directed by Vamshi Paidipally opened well with warm reception from fans and thus the film registered big numbers on its opening day all over.
In Nizam, where Mahesh Babu has a solid grip over the market, Maharshi has beaten Baahubali : The Beginning’s first day record and stood next to Baahubali : The Conclusion’s opening day record. While Baahubali 1 got 6.28 Crore share on first day, Maharshi raked in Rs 6.38 Crore share in Nizam.
In Ceded, Maharshi opened to Rs 2.89 Crore theatrical share on first day. In Uttar Andhra, Maharshi has earned Rs 2.88 Crore share. Whereas the film grossed Rs 3.2 Cr share in East Godavari and 2.46 Cr share in West Godavari. In Krishna, the film got 1.39 Crore share and in Guntur, Maharshi got 4.4 Crore share on opening day, standing next to Baahubali 2. The first day share of Maharshi in Nellore is estimated at Rs 1 Crore. Overall, these are pretty good numbers for Maharshi. Summer season and holidays for schools are expected to work in favour of Maharshi.
Overall, the first day share of Maharshi in AP and Telangana is pegged at Rs 24.6 Crore share which is humongous start.
