Director Selva Raghavan’s confusing screenplay and pointless direction turned out to be a nightmare for NGK’s audience.
It has been a while since a Suriya starrer clicked at the box office. With NGK bombing miserably, Suriya will need something exceptional like Ghajini to reclaim his lost ground.
2) Falaknuma Das: Thanks to the expletives and explosive promos, Falaknuma Das opened well in Hyderabad. However, the film has been receiving lukewarm response in other areas.
Vishwak Sen is trying hard to pull off a Vijay Deverakonda with his attitude and aggressive body language in media meets and public events. But the film isn’t a phenomenon like Arjun Reddy.
3) Abhinetry 2: Tamanna’s skin show, hot promos and the presence of Prabhu Deva failed to grab the attention, Abhinetry 2 is just another horror comedy that is made to cash in on the trend.
4) Godzilla – King of the Monsters: The new Godzilla film has had a pretty decent first weekend in multiplexes and big towns.
5) Maharshi: Maharshi barely broke even in a couple of areas and is a loss venture in most of the areas thus making it an average fare in terms of box office returns.
