Harish Rao, who has been kept on hold, will likely to be included into KCR’s cabinet. Along with Harish, KCR also wants to take his son KTR and likely to give him a crucial portfolio. After making him as TRS working president, KCR wants KTR to play a significant role in government.
Interestingly, KCR also going to include former home minister Sabita Indra Reddy who had defected from Congress to TRS. Sabita might get a decent portfolio and thus wants to silent his critics who have been criticizing KCR for not having a woman in his cabinet.
On the other hand, there is no representation from Khammam after former minister Tummala Nageswara Rao lost in 2018 Assembly polls. Congress MLA Vanama Venkateswara Rao, who had defeated TRS candidate Jalagam Venkat Rao in Kothagudem and recently defected to TRS, is likely to get ministry from Khammam.
With this, line clear for Harish Rao’s entry into cabinet. Harish, who is presently in the US, will soon return to Hyderabad ahead of KCR’s cabinet expansion by the end of June.
