Kohli Not Out, Walked Off Without Waiting

On Sunday’s match between two rivals India and Pakistan, Men in Blue outplayed neighbouring team in all aspects of the game. But, one of the incidents from the game has called for a huge discussion and debate on social media. Though India achieved a good 336 runs in 50 overs, our fans feel that they could have easily scored above 350-360, if skipper Virat Kohli was on the crease.

While everything was going great for India, the dismissal of Captain Kohli has shocked his fans and cricket enthusiasts and they attributed it as ‘the mistake’ of Kohli for leaving the ground even though he isn’t out for that ball by Amir.

In the final overs of first innings, Kohli faced a bouncer from Pakistan’s fast bowler Amir and when the batsman tried to play a hook shot, the ball landed in keeper’ glove without any contact with the bat. As both keeper Sarafaraj and Amir made a big appeal to the Umpire, Kohli walked out without even paying attention to the decision of the Umpire. Even the Ultra-edge has indicated that the ball didn’t had a contact with the bat.
