When a film is being made, directors understand at some point in time that it is going to be a blockbuster at the box office. And sensing that, some directors invest their best on their own film. If you are wondering, Harish Shankar is the director who has done such a feat.
During the times of Gabbar Singh, actually Harish felt that the film has the potential to become the biggest hit in Pawan Kalyan’s career. Though the director got hefty remuneration already, he traded part of it to own Vizag district theatrical rights of Gabbar Singh, which resulted in laughing all the way to the bank big time.
Repeating a similar feat, now Harish is said to be readying Valmiki with stunning detail, comedy and action, and is believing that the film will become the best of Varun Tej’s career. And he is said to have traded his remuneration to own theatrical rights of few areas in Andhra and Telangana.
Well, many star directors and heroes actually don’t charge remuneration but take rights, and it looks like Harish Shankar has joined this brigade now.
