Dear Comrade Final Figures: No Big Injuries

Hero Vijay Devarakonda’s most hyped film “Dear Comrade” has impressed only a section of audiences, while critics haven’t got satisfied by the multidimensional plot that doesn’t stick to one particular narrative. As critics are calling that the film is a flop, here comes a report from the trade circuits.

According to trade circles, Dear Comrade is not a so-huge flop at the box office as predicted by some cinema observers. The film has to collect 34+ crores share to make sure that all the distributors enter the safe zone. And though that didn’t happen, they say that the losses are minimal.

Barring Ceeded, where the film posted a major loss of 1.2 crores, there are slight losses in regions like Vizag and Godavari districts. In Nizam the film is said to have given the breakeven, and a bit of profit too. The loss is nearly 30% in places like Krishna and Guntur, we hear.

Overseas: Interestingly, the film has done pretty well in Australia, Dubai. UK, Singapore and other countries apart from the United States of America. By adding all these along with the US collection, the Overseas distributor is happy and safe, avers producers of Dear Comrade.

Despite the film getting divide talk, it looks like Vijay Devarkonda’s craze has helped it escape with slight bruises rather getting injured deeply. That’s how heroes shoulder films at the box office.
