In a big news, a five kilos silver crown went missing from Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) treasury and this episode came into the light lately. Along with the silver crown, two rings made with gold were also misplaced.
TTD officials who noticed this blamed AEO Srinivasulu for his negligence and as part of action, they deducted the value of the ornaments from his salary.
This is completely a strange decision from TTD. Instead of finding out about the missing ornaments and culprits behind this, TTD confined itself by throwing the blame on AEO and recovering the amount from his salary.
But why is the action is taken only on AEO and not other officials is a million Dollar question and also why did not TTD lodge a police complaint regarding the missing ornaments.
TTD is known for controversies and being the second richest shrine in the whole world, officials take many advantages of it. There are always allegations of corruption from tickets to laddu tokens. Wonder when such news will stop coming from the seven hills.
