It may sound unbelievable, but star lyricist Anantha Sriram’s latest revelation about Hinduphobia in Tollywood will leave everyone shocked. Sriram has made this revelation on star comedian Ali’s talk show Ali Tho Saradaga recently.
Sriram revealed that he had once penned a beautiful ballet song for a composer which the latter like very much. The young lyricist went on to reveal that the same composer (obviously belonging to a different faith) had refused to compose a song written by Sriram because he mentioned a Hindu God’s name in the lyrics.
Sriram said that he was disheartened by the music composer for mixing profession and religion. When Ali asked him who the composer was, Sriram politely refused to divulge the details and said that he doesn’t want to adversely affect the composer’s career and public image.
Meanwhile, social media has been abuzz with netizens speculating on who the composer could be. Names of several popular music composers across the Southern film industries were mentioned, but only Sriram and the composer know the actual truth.
