#Amaravati: YCP MLA drags Boyapati and Rajamouli

Finally Andhra Pradesh Assembly has debated about the capital city, Amaravati. There was a wide discussion that the capital will be changed but the other day minister Botsa clarified that there won’t be any change.

Tuesday being the last day of the winter sessions of the assembly, discussion on Amaravati inevitably arrived. Speaking on this YSRCP MLA Dharmana Prasad Rao found fault at the TDP which hurried up in establishing the capital. He also dragged Tollywood directors Boyapati Sreenu and Rajamouli in this and tried to corner the opposition. “How can film directors be advisers of the capital region,” questioned Dharmana.

“Development should always be decentralized. The administration, legislative and judiciary should have been established at different places. Because of keeping everything under one radar, Andhra Pradesh lost with bifurcation. We should at least now learn from the Telangana movement. Even before the Sivarama Krishna committee submitted its report, Chandrababu has announced the capital as Amaravati. Wonder why he did so?” said Dharmana.

Adding, “Chandrababu knew that capital construction needs Lakhs of crore. Yet he tried his best to show something beyond which unfortunately people did not believe in. Is Amaravati for Lokesh or for the people of AP,” questioned the YSRCP MLA and concluded his speech.
