Can Samantha Wipe Out Sankranthi Hang-Over?

Last month, on the eve of Sankranthi, Telugu audiences have witnessed Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Sarileru Neekevvaru hitting cinemas. As both the films got a similar talk, both made decent money with audiences showering them lots of love. And the love reached peaks as both the films collected 100+ crores share in no time.

But after watching two films back to back, audiences will be wanting something better and bigger to watch in theatres, which is a general phenomenon. That’s the reason why movies like Disco Raja, Aswathama and Choosi Choodangane haven’t got any attention from the audiences though they are blessed with average to above-average content.

Sometimes audiences will wait and watch till another mind-blowing film to sweep them off their feet and who could be that? As Samantha and Sharwa are coming up this Friday with “Jaanu”, we have to see if the top siren could hit a terrific six at the box office. As her craze is intact, films like Majili and Oh Baby stunned everyone to the core. Can she repeat the same magic?

Definitely audiences are still in the Sankranthi hangover as they cannot get their heads out of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Sarileru Neekevvaru. With these two biggies still promoting their film, surely the impact is heavier. So Samantha has to do a miracle at the box office now to wipe out that hangover.
