As we know, Prabhas’ pan-Indian flick ‘Adipurush’ was subjected to a lot of trolls and many memes were made on it when the teaser was unveiled. People expected a visual feast from the movie as the budget was over 400 crores but all they got were below-par low-quality visuals and the actors looked like animated versions of themselves. Releasing the teaser directly on social media platforms backfired and people were highly disappointed with it.
Though director Om Raut tried to say that the visuals will look better on the big screens, the damage was already done and the negativity spread all over. Now, the team is ready with the trailer. This time, they are making sure that the audience gets to experience the visual extravaganza on the big screens that too in 3D format. Apparently, they are screening the trailer in 105 centers across the Telugu states.
This is a strategy to avoid social media trolls and stop the negativity on the movie. After the audience gets impressed with the trailer in theatres, the makers are planning to release it in YouTube. Though theatre screening may have limited viewership, the makers are hoping that the positive buzz will spread around before the trailer is made public. Let us wait and see if this plan works out or not.
As we know, Prabhas will be seen as lord Ram in this movie and director Om Raut said many times that the ‘Baahubali’ hero is the perfect choice to play such an iconic role. In this movie, Kriti Sanon will be seen as Sita while Sunny Singh is Lakshmana. Saif Ali Khan played the role of antagonist Lankesh in the movie. T-Series produced this movie which will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Om Raut directed this movie which is reportedly 174 minutes long.
