Amid this, the news of a man urinating on a tribal man went viral and this happened in the Bharatiya Janata Party-ruled Madhya Pradesh. The opposition parties are aggressively targeting the ruling party over the protection of Tribals. The issue became a national topic with several concerns raised.
The Victim in the case was identified as Dashmat Rawat – a tribal man. He was invited to the official residence of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The CM washed his feet at the residence and garlanded him.
After washing the feet of the Tribal man with water, the Chief Minister put a Tilak on his head and presented him with new clothes. Later, the Chief Minister fed the Tribal man with his own hands. The video is now doing rounds.
Media reports said that, during the same, the Chief Minister had a brief conversation with the victim and spoke to him on various issues. After apologizing to him for what had happened, the Chief Minister is said to have asked him whether the welfare schemes implemented by the government are reaching the beneficiaries or not.
The BJP government in Madhya Pradesh is facing severe flak for the incident. Shivraj Singh Chouhan is called Mama by people there. Even his opponents call him Mama out of love.
The suspect in the case is identified as Pravesh Shukla who was arrested in the case already. It is said that the government used the Bulldozer style in the state and the house of the suspect was brought down.
However, the opposition parties in the state are alleging that the suspect in the case Pravesh Shukla is related to the Bharatiya Janata Party and he has ties with the saffron party. Compared to others, the grand old Congress party is aggressively targeting the ruling party on the alleged ties between the party and the suspect.
