A case has been filed in Karimnagar Court against Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kodela Shiva Prasad Rao. The Speaker while giving an interview to a TV Channel, a few days ago had himself admitted that he had spent Rs 11.50 crores for the Assembly elections in his constituency in Sattenapally. Questioning the same, former YSRCP Karimnagar District President Singireddy Bhaskar Reddy has alleged that Speaker has violated election rules and demanded legal action against him. The High Court has admitted the case and directed Karimnagar Chief Judicial Magistrate to file a case. The Court has learned to have issued a notice to Speaker and asked him to attend the Karimnagar Court on April 20, 2017.
