Comedian Ali is back in the news. The comedian-event host Ali has recently hosted an Awards event along with Anasuya for a popular entertainment channel. Ali was totally in his elements with his usual energy levels and throwing satires every now and then. But his “satire” at Anasuya in the event was standout. Here it is.
It was all well until Raj Tarun came on to the stage. When Raj Tarun was invited alone on to the stage to announce the winner and give away the awards, he has quipped, “Naku Evvaru Jatha Lera?,” (“I don’t have a company?”) pointing that all others who were invited on dais till then were two in number – two guests.
That’s when Anasuya has moved out of the podium to accompany and help Raj Tarun in announcing the winner, and Ali didn’t wait a second to throw a ‘satire’.
“Evvaru Jatha Kavalanna Vellipothava” was Ali’s trademark-type remark on Anasuya. However, Anasuya took this in her stride and the crowd too was in splits. Looks like, Ali has yet again crossed his border in his “excitement” to throw a satire.
