Andhra Pradesh cabinet met on Wednesday and has discussed many issues related to welfare schemes. The cabinet approved things like issuing new ration cards, health cards and Jagananna Vidya Deewana to the eligible. But the highlight of the cabinet meeting is Jagan’s return gift to Kapu community.
Allocating a budget of Rs 1,101 crore for the Kapu community, the cabinet also approved to pay Rs 15,000 to every woman from the community. This is eligible for Kapu community people whose income is below Rs 2 Lakh. This initiative has been named as ‘YSR Kapu Nestham’ and tax is also to be exempted for people who own agriculture tractor, auto and cabs.
The cabinet has stamped the proposal to set up steel factory in Kadapa district and new bar policy which is going to be effective from January 1st, 2020. The cabinet also allotted Rs 3400 crore for fee reimbursement for students and also offered to Rs 20,000 per annum to students to have completed degree and are willing to do any technical course.
