Several public interest litigations (PIL) are filed in the Supreme Court against the Hyderabad police in connection with the encounter that took place on Friday in Telangana. Advocates GS Mani and Pradeep Kumar Yadav have knocked the Supreme court and urged the court to file an FIR against the cops involved.
The advocates claimed that the police did not follow the Supreme Court 2014 guidelines in such incidents. Another advocate by name ML Sharma sought action against Jaya Bachchan and Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief Swati Maliwal who made comments supporting the encounter.
However, the weekend being holiday for Supreme Court, this PILs are likely to come for hearing on Monday. Even several petitions are filed in Telangana High Court against the encounter.
