Don’t harass me: Kodela writes to AP government

Former speaker Kodela Siva Prasad is in controversy over the assembly furniture. As the issue got bigger, Kodela fell sick and got admitted at a private hospital in Narasaraopet. On Thursday he wrote an open letter in which he once again reiterated that he is nowhere involved in shifting the assembly furniture.

In the letter, Kodela mentioned that it was the officials who are to be blamed in this whole episode. “After the election results, I did write assembly secretary and officials to take back the furniture. None of them responded then and now they are harassing me,” said Kodela.

The TDP leaders pleaded the government to stop harassing him in this issue and settle it at the earliest. “I have been in politics for 37 years and never faced a situation like this. I’m innocent and the government is deliberately dragging me in this issue,” added Kodela.

Meanwhile we are yet to hear about an update about this health status while the petition in High Court regarding his arrest is pending.
