Hyderabad, India (July 27, 2024) – The highly anticipated action thriller, Double ISMART, starring Ustaad Ram Pothineni and directed by the prolific Puri Jagannadh, has already emerged as a pre-release box office sensation. Even before the theatrical trailer has made its debut, the film has secured an impressive array of business deals, promising substantial returns for its producers, Puri Connects.
PrimeShow Entertainment, led by K Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy, has demonstrated strong faith in the film by acquiring its theatrical rights for a staggering Rs 60 crore. This significant investment underscores the high expectations surrounding the project. Furthermore, digital giant Amazon Prime Video has made a strategic move by securing the film’s digital rights for all South Indian languages – Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam – in a record-breaking deal worth Rs 33 crore. This acquisition marks a new benchmark for Ram Pothineni’s career in terms of digital valuation.
The film’s audio rights have also been lucratively sold for Rs 9 crore, contributing to the overall financial success of Double ISMART. Negotiations are currently underway for the Hindi satellite and digital rights, as well as the Telugu satellite rights, promising additional revenue streams for the film.
As the film enters the final stages of post-production, excitement continues to build among audiences. The release of captivating songs and a promising teaser has already generated significant buzz. Sanjay Dutt is set to play the formidable antagonist, while Kavya Thapar will be seen as Ram’s love interest.
