
A shocking incident in Chennai made the popular food app Swiggy’s customers feel upset and threatened. A man in Chennai named R Balaji, order his favourite food from Swiggy and was eagerly waiting to enjoy his scrumptious meal. But, here comes the unexpected.
To his sheer unluck, when the delivery boy made it late in delivering the ordered food, the customer complained to the customer care that he was kept waiting for the food. The complaint made the delivery boy angry to death and he went on to beat R Balaji along with five other men in Ashok Nagar. It is reported that Rajesh phoned a few of his colleagues in the nearby areas and attacked Balaji.
The reason for the physical assault was said to be the complaint that Balaji gave on him for delaying the food. The delivery boy, who has been identified as D Rajesh Kanna, handed over the food to Balaji nearly after one hour of placing the order at 8 pm. Rajesh, is new to the company, having joined just two months ago.
Soon after reaching the destination, Balaji and Rajesh were involved in a heated argument. The inside story reveals that Balaji is allegedly inebriated at the time of the incident and Rajesh, who was not well, had his father, Dhanasekaran, accompany him for the delivery. However, the truth is yet to come out.
No matter what, it is still wrong on many levels for Rajesh to physically assault his customers on a frivolous reason and instead, he should have apologized in a polite way and back off. After all, it is a matter of his job and he cannot satisfy every single food customers that he comes across on a dialy basis.
