Karthikeya’s name might not strike a bell immediately. But when he is referred as ‘RX 100’ hero, he is instantly recognised. As he is all set for his next Hippi, Karthikeya is all excited and bundle of nerves.
On RX 100 Stardom
I’m still come to terms with RX 100’s recognition. It’s been eleven months, and I am yet to adjust to the fame, recognition. At times, I forget and step out as I used to do so before, but after realizing people’s recognition, I realize that the life has changed. But I’m the same to myself.
Since childhood, I’ve fantasized hero as a person from different planet. As I’ve seen heroes on big screen with larger-than-life image, I can’t see myself as a hero. For the past 25 years, I’m used to myself. Suddenly, I can’t see myself as a different person. Frankly, I don’t see myself as a hero and I believe I don’t have fans. People have liked me and my role in RX 100. That’s all I can say.
Hippi
After RX 100, I was in dilemma on what to do next. But I was very much sure that I don’t want to do anything similar to RX 100. Interestingly, Hippi came to me. It is something that everyone relate to. It is very practical and present day youth would easily connect to Hippi. It’s like a multi-starrer film. JD Chakravarthy garu has a great role and he did a fantastic job. Probably, I might have larger screen space and hence I may be considered as hero of Hippi. Otherwise, every role has importance.
Taking Off Shirt on Stage
First things first. I feel my body is great. Apart from that, taking off shirt has connection to the role I play in Hippi. If I do such act for Guna 369 or Gang Leader, then I could be wrong. But removing my shirt on stage has direct connection to Hippi. Also, it is part of promotions.
Guna 369 & Gang Leader
Hippi, Guna 369 and Gang Leader are very crucial in my career. Guna 369 is totally different from what I did so far. And the role I play in Gang Leader is like a life-time opportunity. Probably, I could never play such role in my life again. It is quite exciting to work with a star like Nani. He is very nice to me. He has become a good friend of mine. In fact, he is the first person among heroes to become a friend to me. And JD garu has also become my friend. I’m yet to befriend other young heroes.
Competition with Young Heroes
Seriously, I don’t even have stature to say I’ve competitors. May be if Hippi, Guna 369 and Gang Leader works, then I could at least have some sort of competition with any young heroes. Probably, then I can make a statement that it is all healthy relation between us. Presently, I don’t even have stature to make such statement.
