Former Jammu & Kashmir CM Farooq Abdullah has made shocking statements against YSRCP chief YS Jagan. Post the death of YS Rajasekhar Reddy, YS Jagan had put a proposal before the Congress that if he was made Chief Minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh back then, he was ready to contribute Rs 1500 crore for the party. In this regards, YS Jagan negotiated the terms with Farooq Abdullah who was then part of the Congress ally.
Stunned by Jagan’s offer, Farooq had asked how would he (Jagan) manage to get such a whopping amount. But there was no reply from Jagan and we know the rest. As he was denied CM chair, Jagan walked out of Congress and form his own party.
Farooq Abdullah campaigned in Kadapa district on Tuesday along with AP CM Chandrababu Naidu. Praising the TDP chief, the ex-CM of J&K said, “Chandrababu always thinks about the state and is working tirelessly for it.” He Farooq said it’s time to take a collective decision in the country as we are Indians.
