The Jubilee Hills Police who are investigating NRI businessman Chigurupati Jayaram murder case, have filed 388 pages of charge-sheet. Also the police have come to a conclusion that Jayaram’s niece Sikha Chowdary, who was alleged to have a hand, has no connection with the murder and so they have given her clean-chit.
In this case, the police have questioned nearly 70 members so far and in the charge-sheet, they have included the names of prime accused Rakesh Reddy, Srinivas, actor Surya Prasad, Kishore, Vishal, Nagesh, Anji Reddy and Subhash Reddy for having their involvement. The police will approach the court to submit the charge-sheet and further process in this case.
On January 31st, Jayaram was found lifeless in his car somewhere in Nandigama of Krishna district. The Andhra Pradesh police have transferred the case to Jubilee Hills police as they believe that Jayaram was murdered in Hyderabad and brought in car to Nandigama. Two inspectors and one assistant commissioner of police (ACP) were suspended as they tried to help Rakesh Reddy get out of this case.
