JC Diwakar Reddy is the senior leader from Rayalaseema and a bold politician who expresses his views without any hesitation. The former INC leader after state bifurcation, joined TDP and got elected as Anantapur MP in 2014. But, in 2019 polls, he got TDP’s ticket for his son JC Pavan, but he was defeated by YCP’s Talari Rangaiah.
Post elections, JC made sensational comments that each MLA candidate in AP is spending to the tune of 50 Crore to win an election. In a fresh development, JC indicated that he will stay out of mainstream politics. Reddy, on Monday, visited district Anantapur SP office to thank the Police officials for supporting him over last 40 years. While walking out of SP office, he said he will exit politics considering the latest political situation in state.
At the same time, JC also clarified that he is in no mood to switch sides now. Furthermore, he said: “I have only made political criticism on Jagan, but never hated him.”
Later, Mr. Reddy spoke to the media channel and gave his reasons for TDP’s humiliating defeat in recent polls. “I have always been bold and open in telling my opinions without any hesitation. Similarly, I told him (Naidu) that we’ll fail bigtime with the way the Janma Bhoomi committees are working, but there was no action at all. It is up to them to either pay heed or ignore,” stated Diwakar Reddy.
