A local court in Mangalagiri has issued an injunction order against Ram Gopal Varma’s sensational film Lakshmi’s NTR that is courting several controversies in political circles. Mangalagiri court has asked the makers to not release the film till April 15, 2019 in cinemas.
Acting on a petition The court has barred the filmmakers to release the film in any sort of social media, digital, video-sharing platforms like YouTube, Twitter, Facebook in any manner. The court has directed to send notices to directors Ram Gopal Varma, Agastya Manju and producer Rakesh Reddy. RGV is yet to respond on this. More details are still awaited.
While the film’s advanced bookings have already begun in the US, Canada and Australia, with the court’s injunction order, looks like, these could be cancelled. This is indeed a last-minute shocker to RGV who had been claiming to release the film on 29th March at any cost.
