The candid chat show by Akshay Kumar, where he had an informal and relaxed chit chat with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Delhi today, was a complete non-political conversation. Modi opened up about many things to the actor and some of his statements were fun-filled and casual. Right from his friendly relationship with the former US President Barack Obama to his fondness towards mangoes, the PM spoke on many things. He also spoke on his fitness and sleep schedule and how Mamata Banerjee gifts him kurtas every year.
In the midst of all these, Modi also took a moment to bring the actor’s wife Twinkle Khanna into the conversation. When Akshay Kumar asked how active he is on soial media, Modi replied, “I am active on social media, it helps me stay up to date with what’s happening around us.” He also said, “the way Twinkle Khanna expresses her anger towards me on Twitter, I think there must be peace in your life at home. All her anger must be coming out at me only. So in a way I have helped you.”
Twinkle Khanna, who is an author and activist, replied to Modi’s comment, saying, “I have a rather positive way of looking at this-Not only is the Prime Minister aware that I exist but he actually reads my work :).” on her Twitter
