One of the most delayed projects at the pre-production stage for Akkineni Nagarjuna is none other than Bangarraju. This happens to be the proposed sequel of his super hit film Soggade Chinni Nayana which is directed by Kalyan Krishna and had Lavanya Tripathi as the leading lady, while Ramya Krishna did a role of Nag’s wife and mother too.
Reportedly, Kalyan Krishna has scripted a sequel to that film, regarding which they locked Bangarraju as the title, and is in the writing mode from years. But finally, we hear that Nagarjuna loved the latest draft and is willing to take it forward right after the summer holidays. Meanwhile, he wants the director to give a narration to Naga Chaitanya as well, and also wants Samantha to hear it.
As the first through, both Nag and Chay will be starring in this film, and if she likes it, then Samantha might also join the gang. After wrapping ‘Wild Dog’, Nagarjuna will be going ahead with this movie under his own Manam Entertainment banner.
