Megastar Chiranjeevi is teaming up with Surender Reddy for the ambitious film ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’.It’s a known fact that the film will have the Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan playing an important cameo. However, a picture of Bachchan sporting a fully-grown beard has now gone viral on social media platforms.According to reports, the veteran actor has joined the sets in Hyderabad and has given a two-day call sheet.
‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ is one of the biggest Telugu films in production.The period drama will chronicle the life of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, a freedom fighter from Rayalaseema, who fought against the British army.Produced by Konidela Production Company, the film will see Chiranjeevi essaying the titular role.
To be made on a lavish budget, the film stars Nayanthara, Jagapathi Babu, Vijay Sethupathi and Sudeep in prominent roles. After a 10-year hiatus, Chiranjeevi made a striking comeback in 2016 with ‘Khaidi No 150’, a remake of Tamil film ‘Kaththi’. The film opened to rave reviews and became highly successful at the box-office.
