Generally every time a star hero’s film is releasing, there is huge commotion everywhere regarding the Day 1 records. And then these days, everyone talks about the Non-Baahubali records. The same thing is happening with Maharshi movie now.
But if we look from money and investment perspective, these records don’t matter as long as they don’t give any profits to distributors. A film that has scored Non-Baahubali record on the first day is actually failing to meet the final target. Say it Agnyaathavasi or Vinaya Vidheya Rama, those films have initial day records but in the end, they resulted in crores of loss. Like we said already, those two films are in Top 5 First Day share getters in Tollywood.
Coming to Maharshi, the film’s $1 Million club is being celebrated big time. That’s fine, but it has to collected 3 more millions to make sure that the distributors won’t lose a single penny of their investment. And then, the film has created Best Nizam Non-Baahubali collection for the first three days, thereby contributing a lot in recovering 40 crores share already. But the final target is 100 crores and it has to collect 60+ crores to make sure that distributors are in the safe zone.
Going by the budgets involved, one should celebrate after every distributor makes money, isn’t it?
