One Man Cabinet: Karnataka CM following KCR

Right after winning the assembly elections, Telangana CM KCR took nearly two months to form the council of ministers. Despite the opposition’s criticism, KCR was adamant in taking his own sweet time in picking up ministers of his choice. Seems like we have a follower for KCR now and he is none other than the newly sworn-in Karnataka CM Yediyurappa.

After a long tussle, Yediyurappa chaired the top position of Karnataka government. It’s been two weeks now and Yediyurappa is yet to form the cabinet. The oppositions in Karnataka are lashing out at Yediyurappa for not appointing ministers while the state is witnessing flood sort of situation with heavy rainfall all over the state.

Also Yediyurappa got stuck in the national capital for the last few days. He sought the BJP high command’s appointment to decide the cabinet. But with ‘Article 370’ row followed by Sushma Swaraj’s death, BJP leadership could not allot time for Yediyurappa. With no other option the Karnataka CM is waiting for a call from New Delhi. Hopefully he will form the cabinet at the earliest and counter the oppositions.
