Several Pawan Kalyan fans from Andhra Pradesh (AP), working at Kuwait in Gulf, began a welfare organisation called, Pawan Seva Samithi and started helping the poor in East Godavari district. The organisation distributed cheques worth Rs. 30,000 to the poor at Lakkavaram village of Malkipuram mandal of East Godavari. Applauding their efforts, Nalla Pavan, district unit secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), said that the Gulf Telugus collected nearly Rs. 9 lakhs and decided to help the poor in their native state.
