Other day the talented dashing writer-director Puri Jagannath has shared a dialogue from his immaterialized movie, Mahesh Babu’s ‘Jana Gana Mana’, which he announced hastily after Megastar Chiru called-off this 150th film with Puri Jagan. Apparently, his dialogue reads why are various foreigners attacking India all the time, can’t we reach a position where the world lives in a fear of India’s invasion?

To make people whistle and to give them goosebumps, these dialogues are surely worthy, but filmmakers like Puri Jagan who could influence more of the younger generation should be careful in choosing their words. A war makes men bleed, causes grave losses and leaves people in distress. And then, a war will not decide who is right or wrong, but it will only give the option of who is left. In a way, strength lies in tackling the enemy without even a war.
As we are living in the 21st century in a civilized world, surely war is not the option and writers like Puri Jagan should not be quoting history and make their new-age protagonists sound like blood-mongering kings.
