Mega Producer Allu Aravind rarely talks to media. Even if media approaches him on any topic he chooses to be silent unless and until it’s in his interest.
But taking many by surprise, Aravind has called on for a sudden press conference on Thursday evening about the first day collections of Chiru’s Khaidi No. 150 that is being produced by Ram Charan.
Aravind has released the collections to media stating that the movie collected Rs 47 Crore 7 Lakh gross worldwide. He also shared breakup figures.
But it’s learnt that Nizam distributor have stated Rs 4.87 Crore share for Day 1 that is disputing with Aravind’s figures.
It’s buzzed that both Nizam distributor and Aravind’s team are locking horns over figures. With Nizam distributor’s figures are quoting otherwise, Aravind swiftly stepped in and called for a press conference hurriedly to avoid confusion in media. But by the time, damage has been done.
This kind of clashes between producers and distributors are not new but this is gaining significance as it happens to be Chiru’s 150th and Aravind is involved.
It can also be noted that Aravind hasn’t called on for a press conference to state collections of Dhruva which was his own production. Although he wasn’t directly part of Khaidi No. 150, on whose orders Aravind hurriedly held the press conference is talking point.
