Girl goes missing – Fearing something wrong, parents reach police station – Callous Police behave awfully, saying that the missing girl might have eloped – She gets brutally raped for hours before getting killed in the hands of four culprits – Then the police find out the dead body.
While the above order of events is actually the way Dr Priyanka Reddy’s rape and death took place, this is the same screenplay of scenes that we have seen in Jr NTR’s “Temper” movie. Exactly four people trap a college-going girl, rape her brutally and then kill her. There the hero finds it impossible to get them convicted and hence turns a false witness testifying that he has done the rape along with them. Inside the jail he kills them.
While none can take the system into hands that way, people are demanding capital punishment for the culprits. Provided with the fact that our legal systems take a long route to punish the offenders like it took almost 8 years to hang Kasab, while the killers of Nirbhaya are awarded death sentence but are yet to be hanged though the incident took place in 2012.
