The Adilabad Fast-track court has granted death penalty to the rapists and murderers of 30-year-old woman in the district. Three days before Disha incident in Hyderabad, Samatha was raped and murdered by Shaik Babu, Shaik Shabuddin and Shaik Makdum of Ellapatar village in Jainoor mandal on November 24th.
The police who stepped into action, had arrested all the three on November 27th. Then the Telangana government has set up Fast-track court for speedy trials on December 11th. The police wrapped up the investigation in just 20 days and filed a chargesheet on December 14th. The Adilabad Fast-track court held the trails and finished its judgment in just one and half months.
Thursday was the judgment and before reading out the verdict, the judge reportedly informed the three accused that they are found guilty in the case. The three pleaded the judge as they claimed that they are the only source of income in their family.
Overlooking their pleas, the judge sentenced them to death penalty.
