Senior Stars Showcasing Their Stamina & Unparalleled Stardom!

We are living in a time when two failures are dropping down the market of a young hero. If this is the situation of young and crazy heroes, many wondered how senior heroes would survive in this competition. But everything changed as the seniors are proving that they could make and break records with the right director and script.

A 57-year-old Shah Rukh Khan is creating a tsunami at the box office with ‘Pathaan’. Even before completing one week in theatres, the movie crossed the 500 crores mark. This made everyone speechless and people don’t know where it is going to stop. It has been a decade since he scored a hit and SRK’s last outing was four years back. But the unmatchable charm and star power of the Bollywood hero made this spy thriller a blockbuster.

With a similar track record, Kamal Hassan who is 68 years old has arrived with ‘Vikram’ in June 2022. This gangster action drama minted over 400 crores by the end of its theatrical run and set a benchmark in Kollywood. Megastar Chiranjeevi did not have a hit after ‘Khaidi No 150’ and people thought that his star power is slowly fading away.

But his Sankranti release ‘Waltair Veerayya’ got 200 crores gross collections in just three weeks and it is targeting to cross ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’ collections soon. These senior heroes are still setting the standards for youngsters despite nearing their sixties and seventies. Not just these but legendary actors like Rajnikanth, Venkatesh, Nagarjuna, Balakrishna and others are not taking rest even at this age and coming up with at least one film per year.
