The launch of Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film, SK21, took place in the presence of Kamal Haasan. The film’s entire cast and crew, including director Rajkumar Periasamy, music director GV Prakash, and female lead Sai Pallavi, were present at the puja ceremony.
Kamal Haasan snapped the clapboard for the first shot as the film’s production has begun. SK21 is a tale of ‘Guts and Gore’ and will be high on patriotism. Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi’s pairing is eagerly awaited by fans.
The film’s action director is Stefan Richter, known for designing action for Bollywood movies like Dishoom, Kick 2, Shivaay, and more. The movie will begin filming today with a two-month schedule in Kashmir’s stunning locations.
Sivakarthikeyan has two more releases this year, Ayalaan and Maaveeran. Maaveeran is a comic action thriller directed by Madonne Ashwin and produced by Arun Viswa under Shanthi Talkies. Sivakarthikeyan will play the role of a cartoonist in the film.
Ayalaan, on the other hand, is directed by R. Ravikumar and stars Rakul Preet Singh, Sharad Kelkar, and Isha Koppikar. The film is set to release this November. There are rumors that the release date of Maaveeran might be changed to avoid a box office clash with Rajinikanth’s Jailer, which is releasing on August 10, but there is no official word yet. Sivakarthikeyan’s fans are eagerly waiting for all his upcoming movies.
