Former Congress president Sonia Gandhi is unhappy with Congress leaders over the design of the party’s manifesto. At the launch of manifesto event yesterday Sonia Gandhi was seen chiding Rajeev Gowda, who is the AICC research department head. Apparently he was the incharge of the manifesto design and stuff.
Going in details, Sonia had noticed the size of Congress president Rahul Gandhi and the party’s symbol which are comparatively very small on the cover page of the manifesto. As they are partially visible and placed at the bottom of the pace. Somehow she did not like the whole design. Then Sonia inquired who was behind this and after getting to know, she did express her anguish.
So an upset Sonia did not takes questions from the media despite being the guest of manifesto launch.
Congress has banking heavily on this manifesto which promises Rs 72,000 to poor families every year under its proposed NYAY scheme.
